Pictures for school [Update] {Urgent}

I have hand drawn some pictures for school. They aren't that great and I knew somebody here could make them look a lot better.

For the first one(with the text and titled with a 1) I basically want the color scheme of red and blue kept, but dont care how you use those colors. All i want is bubble italicized letters. I also need a copy of it in black and white.

For the second (bagel character) I just want it to look nicer.
