text styles

Hey everyone, it's the photoshop noob =D.
I figure that because I always use the fonts already on my computer, that is part of why the sigs and things that i make don't turn out that well. Where can i find some really cool fonts to use on photoshop, and how do I use them?

I get most of my texts from http://www.dafont.com .
This is how to access the texts once you download the ones you want:

Get on administrator if your not already.
(I'm guessing you're using Vista or XP?) Open up your Control Panel from the Start menu.
If you are in Display view, then go to the sidebar and go into Classic view. I don't know how to get there from display view.
Find Fonts in the Control panel.
Once in the Fonts folder, Go to File > Install New Font...
On the lower part of that window, find the directory you put the texts you want to add.
Once found, in the table above that, it will find texts in that directory ready for you to install. Press the install once they are all selected (using ctrl+click)

You will now have the texts installed. They don't seem to pop up instantly in the Photoshop text list, so I normally reboot the computer before using them.

If it's a ZIP file, you have to open it. To open it, you simply find the file (It should be on your desktop), and click Open. Kepp clicking open if it doesn't open up the file the first time.

i logged onto admin and it won't do file-install new so...thanks though.
