I love what you did with the colouring in this, and the background fits very nicely with the render!
All that needs work is the border and text; the white of the border doesn't match the sig at all, and under no circumstances must you use the Monotype Corsiva font!
Try to make the text and border blend with the signature, by using similar colours and techniques. Don't be afraid to rasterise the text layer in order to spruce it up some more. Use very simple fonts to start with (Serif fonts usually work well such as Georgia and Garamond, or Sans-serif fonts like Myriad Pro, Verdana and Lucida Grande/Sans) and as a general rule you should always use "Sharp" antialiasing.
I'd like to see what more you can do with this signature by improving the text and even just removing the border for now until you have a chance to improve on that, as it definitely has potential. At the moment, these aspects are hurting the sig more than helping it.
