It is really scratchy, but I can actually see the picture and I like it. I think you should keep to the drawing.

It was done with a mouse in paint, of course it would be scratchy.

not a bad rough sketch of it to start with. clean up the scratchyness and give it some more work (shading & maybe even a lil color) and it'd be even better.
