so this is my first time doing this... a few quesitons
i hope i have the right forum
ok so

how do i get my "buddy" for my avatar?

You will have to upload your buddy on a reliable image sharing site, such as Imageshack or Photobucket. Then when it has uploaded, copy the URL tag (as shown in the picture below, taken from photobucket).

After copying the URL tag, go into your profile and at the bottom of the profile editing page, there will be a box that you need to paste the URL into. Then submit your changes, and it will now be as your avatar!
