with your avatar what effect is used? i am 99% sure ive done it before but cant find it again. is it done on photoshop cs,elements, 7.0? i cant remember as i did it when i ddint know anything asbout ps. im almost sure its done on elements but cant find it

if you can help me id appreciate it greatly

the one in chewy's avvy. its just a sketch effect. it outlines black around the outline of the person and kinda makes the colours look drawn in

ohh you mean in chewys avatar?
all he did was take a screenshot of his rs character, outlined it in black by hand, put text with stroke and glow, and made a border
