I feel like an idiot of asking this, but for the life of me i cant figure out how to resise a render......

Is it photoshop or gimp?

And you just open/place the render, then drag the top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right corners to adjust the size.

have it selected and then...
edit>transform>scale.
or i believe you can hit ctrl + T.

yeah in photoshop, just press ctrl and T and that lets you transform the image, if you want to keep the render to scale, hold shift while your resizing in a corner so that it stays the same scale.
