most of us use photoshop but at the top of this forum is a gimp topic where u can get gimp which will help u

Jeez, calm down, now, there is a sticky that says "GIMP and Gimpshop" so click it, then go to the site and download what you need to download, then you have to look around for tutorials, I recommend http://www.pixel2life.com or http://www.stealthdesignz.com.
Or, some people use Adobe Photoshop, which you can buy for $300 or so dollars (yes $300 or $30), or you can download the trial version, but that only lasts for a few days, then you can look for trials from the same sites again...
