I don't know where you can upload them (but I'm absolutely sure someone else will be able to tell you because there are plenty of places, I just never need to use them) but I have a programme called Camtasia. It was a full version that came on a CD with some sort of Magazine. Anyway, there's bound to be a place where you can download a Trial version somewhere. Try searching on Google and see what you find, if this doesn't get answered again in the near future.
To edit them, I just use Windows Movie Maker, which comes with Windows XP. Once again, there are plenty of other programmes that you can use, I just can't be bothered finding them... Windows MM is good enough for me.
And if this doesn't help, try searching through the RS Related Media section, I'm sure I remember a topic like this before.
