Birthday calendar

Like all other forums, rsbandb needs a birthday calendar! Everyone can chip in to give others birthday presents (if they want to).

well, maybe just to see whos having a bday, but some people dont want everyone to know...for some odd reason.

Hmm.. IPB has this option, but phpBB does not. We'll have to install a hack or get Mike Shane to make one.

I dont think we should have one. It would be a waste of time to make it and put all the names in the calender.

true.. and if someone wants their birthday recognized.. they can just make a new post saying.. Today " , 20__" is my birthday.. etc

luckily i can afford to give everyone 5gp, but thats it... I don't know, its a suggestion to improve the site... Also, not all the registered users are active... The presents are optional

I kinda like that idea. Just lets everyone know when each others b-day is. Too bad it would take too much work to get one

This would actually take hardly any work at all. All we would have to do is install a phpBB "hack" Birthday Calendar, and each user could choose their birthday in their profile, and the calendar would be setup automatically.

It's up to Mike & Shane if we're gonna do this.

i think its a bad idea...whats the point really i mean almost everyone is gonna make a post when its their birthday anyway so having a calendar would defeat the purpose of posting about it even tho peeps do it anyway...nice thought tho

Like i said, if its someones birthday and if they feel like they should let everyone know, make a post in non rs discussion and say, hey today is my birthday and im this old now..

Some people like privacy and dont want you to know their birthday and such.. A calender right now would just be a waste of time and bandwith usage.
