Item/Monster Database

Since other sites have some really nice item/monster databases... Why shouldn't RSBandB don't have one? I really think they are great.

I think they're currently working on one, or getting around to it, But I am not entierly sure, It takes alot of work to create a data base, Especially with all the new items coming out, It would have to be updated very so often.

I don't think they are, I will have to further investigate it, and find out for you, But if they are not, Maybe you could make a topic to make one? Good luck if you do, I'll support you if I see your topic, and I'll pass the idea onto Mike.

extra bandwidth costs = more money spent = less time rsbandb has to live...

What would u rather have, a db or rsbandb?? cmon people! :shock:

runehq and both tip.it have monster databases. so lets just look of those for now

We have permission from runehq to put up their monster, item, and person DB's, just at the moment we don't have the resources to do that...

We are working on getting a new server for the site.

I also have some sig designs to code up that are waiting for the new server, I don't want to add those yet because we are getting really close to the limit of our bandwith this month.

Data base takes up lots of bandwidth ... Like Mike said, we need a larger server to fit it in ..

Who needs a Item/Monster Database when we have awesome calculators and dynamic sigs!

Well, considering how RuneHQ already has a monster database, why should RSBandB waste bandwidth with the exact (more or less) data?

maybe cause once runehq ends up quitting again rsbandb would have the database and we could start from there like add new monsters,and new drops
