Should we merge?

I was just wondering, do you think it would be appropriate for RSBandB to merge with another fansite? I'm sure Shane and Mike have thought about it before; but I haven't yet thought of a reason why we shouldn't. If I was to suggest a site, I would go with Tip.it. They seem like quite a respectable site, with a heap of members. More members for them = more usage of our sigs = more members of this site = more potential money for the site.

So far I can gather that Draynor lost it's affiliation with Zybez a few days ago, while being greedy and trying to merge with RuneHQ, And Tip.It is starting to release some signatures.

So, how about it? I'll put a poll up, so we can see ;D

Merging would loose all sense of RSBANDB. Draynor isn't trying to merge with RuneHQ. "Merging" with tip would take all of our services, and put them on tip. Unless you mean affiliating :S

Anyways, there probably wouldn't even be a site worth it to merge with:
RSC is trying to eliminate signatures completely
RHQ is using Draynor
Tip is making their own signatures

It's been discussed in the past. Although i think we're happy going solo, i don't know if you was around at the time but we had a close relationship with RuneHQ once, they had our calculators and we had there guides and things.

It might happen, i don't know what the outcome was to the talks. I just know Draynors little games has gotten them completely banned on Zybez,none of there signatures are allowed and RuneHQ aren't the easiest of people to work with either, it's probably not even worth the effort looking at it.

RSBandB is staying RSBandB. There's no reason we'd not look at another affiliate program with another site. Right now though we havn't made any decisions/thought about it in detail. Creepy is right, we were affiliated with RuneHQ before but we decided to go in alone. We would not "merge" with another site.

I'm going to lock this as it's really something the general community need not concern themselves with.
