I try to go in chat but when I do all that I see is that blue bar saying loading but it never loads. Anyone know why?

if your currently using windows vista; your outa luck like I am when I boot vista

If you can't run 'signed' java then it wouldn't work. AKA if you have to select unsigned java to play Runscape then chat will NOT work for you. There is currently no solution for that ..

Best thing to do is: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp and try downloading the latest java for you OS (ie windows / mac / unix)

ya if your running vista I have yet to find a solution.

Because of the way the chat here is hosted you can't connect directly with the server with another application. ;(
