Special Ranks In wrong places

Hey Members.

A few months ago I saw several people using Special Ranks as an a Avatar, but as I believe the ranks shouldn't be used by a person who they don't belong to!, Special Ranks such as (Global Mod, Site Owner, ETC), and I also think it is against the rules to use Special Rank, as an Avatar/and or signature! And I aslo think its disrespectful to the forum, because the use does not belong to the user group. Any thoughts on this?

Anyone caught using one of the "special" ranks for an avatar will have it removed as this is both misleading and not true.

However the custom ranks that people make that look like our real ranks are allowed.

You aren't allowed to use admin/moderator fake rank images because it could confuse users and cause problems.

Other ones, joke ones are fine, for the time being.

Actually I was talking about the real ranks! not fake ones!, by the way why isn't it in the rules?.

I've yet to see anyone use the real ranks in their avvys.

However i don't see the harm in smeone using, i don't know "dragon member" as an avvy.

Just important forum ranks like mod/admin

Creepy I was talking aboutt special ranks not member ones, Ie(MOD,DC,Admin and so on)

I've not seen any of those being used..

They was when the rank images first came about but we quickly put a stop to them because they would cause confusion..if you have anyone whos using one please pm a moderator/admin.

I did notice that a few times before, and I did tell Shane...Times when you weren't online

Didn't know they would cause trouble now...

I made them and it was fun, until the orders came too fast.

I stayed away from the color configurations on the moderator, etc. ranks.

I say there's not much to worry about it, even if someone uses it in their avatar, people are smart enough to know it's fake.

Well your real rank should always be above your avatar, so I don't see much confusion. However, we'll be better off not use any of those special ranks as avatars.

It's fine as long as you don't use the special rank color configurations such as cyan boxes with gold borders, orange boxes with gold borders, and dark green boxes with gold borders.

(Make sure that background on your avatar is #000000 black or transparent)

Actually, as long as the fake rank doesn't say "moderator", "site owner", or "administrator", or any of the major ranks it should be fine.
