Lately I've been noticing quiet a few people enforcing the rules around here.

I'd like to ask you to cut it out, when you reply telling them not to double post or 'don't spam', whatever you get the picture. All it is doing is adding to the problem, over solving it.

The report button is there to be used, doesn't matter how small the problem is, any mod that complains over a report coming in for a double post clearly isn't doing there job properly anyway. It helps keep the forums clean, less spammy and avoids arguments (believe it or not, people don't like being told what to do. ;)).

Thanks.

You're also all taking a huge bashing on my post count, every time you ask them not to double post i lose a point, jerks. I'M JOKING.

So basicly use the 'report' button instead of posting things like spam.

I'd just like to add this applies to SOTW also. If you see a bad entry or someone spamming the entry thread, report it. Judges can see the reports page also so we can take care of it there.

Does back seat modding include PMing mods with a list of topics to be close?
I think it sort of dosen't if you haven't post saying 'you bumped a year old topic!!!'

Backseat modding is posting in a topic dictating what action the mods should take, but it's easier to report a post, than it is to pm a mod.

Hoorah for the witch hunt.

I only do it when it's included in a post where I'm commenting upon the topic. So go me.

8)

I'm assuming that's alright of course, kill me if it isn't.

TO PM one mod means you need to wait for that mod. When the report button is used all mods are called to attention and we come to the source. I can't go into physics of it but the second you send that report is the second we know about it. Also if you use the official RS forums and follow there rules then follow them here and you will be fine.
