How to delete your own thread (that you started)

I really don't know if this is OK to post here...

but this is how to delete a thread that you made:

Delete all of the messages that you made, then delete the first post you made. I don't really know if this works... and I think you can only do it when no one but you has posted on the thread... but it's never failed me in the past. Should this be a Sticky? Or should it be deleted or locked?

It does not work when someone else has replied in it.
You can also delete your own reply if someone else hasn't replied to it.

This really isn't informative and doesn't need to be stickied.
