I have set up a bit torrent tracker. This will allow people to download the rsbandb podcast once we get started. I have set it up at http://www.rsbandb.com/bt

I am posting this because I want feedback on the system and want to give it a good test.

Please download the file there and leave it open so others may download it as well. The more people that have it open == faster downloads.

Bittorrent is safe! It is also used for illegal file sharing, however this is 100% legal.

The file there is just a simple wmv video file that I am seeding right now.

If there are any problems, concerns or questions please post here.

EDIT: If you can't get easy download to work, go to http://www.bittorrent.com/ and download the cient that suits your operating system. Then after its installed you can just download the torrent files and have them open from your browser.

Shane, The install DOS exe for Blog Torrent does not work on my computer. Window XP.
I installed the window client Bit Torrent from the official site, which is working fine.

Ok well i'd just like to say... you said it is illegal to share files which is partly true.

It is illegal to share files that you are supposed to pay for such as programs (Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, etc.), or music.

But it is LEGAL to share other files which would not have to be bought called freeware or shareware. Any files available for download on the rsbandb tracker are legal for download and sharing.
