Well as some of you may know we had a spot of trouble in the clan chat today.

It would seem someone was trying to lure our members into saying things that he could possibly report them for. No idea who this person was as he was using a noob account, well he was using a good 5-6 noob accounts and kept coming back actually.

However i think it's fair to say the person knows this site as they was capable of listing regular members here.

Why does that matter? Well, I've sat in clan chat before and seen people carelessly joke about and say things that i could very well have reported them for and yes, i get it you think it's all fine cause you're in private. Well that's not an excuse.

Keep in mind anything you say in the chat can be reported and even if you're in a room full of people you know, it could very well be this moron who gets off on reporting people. Bare in mind not everyone is going to like you, some people are low enough to report you over stupid things to get you in trouble.

REMEMBER the rules. Do NOT list websites. This includes GOOGLE, i saw google mentioned several times and you CAN be banned for doing it. Don't go round the filter, don't even JOKE about cheating cause you will get in trouble.

Jagex are nothing short of stupid Nazis on this thing, they'll ban you outright over it one of our moderators is living proof of how thick they are.

No more of this, think before you type, if someones in chat asking you odd questions stop and wonder why and be careful what you say. We do not want anyone else banned but there are people out there pathetic enough to do it.

So just be careful. This isn't a reason for people to panic and avoid the chat room or get all serious, I'm just reminding you all to think before you type.

Thanks all for your time,

Creepy

p.s If by chance the person doing the luring was a member here, Hi, get a life and stop wasting my time, instead put your time into a more beneficial activitie, like playing in the motorway.

Well, I wasn't on today, but this sounds bad.

Who would do such a thing. :(

Yep, Warren shows us just how stupid Jagex are... Mike should have added everyone to his friends list by now, so if someone doesn't have a smilie face by their name, beware.

Thanks for posting this Creepy, hopefully people will be more careful from now on.

One thing that I would do if someone is asking you odd questions is too ask who they are on 'bnb', if they don't know what 'bnb' is then they're obviously a cheater. If they give you a name then look it up, use the search button up there *points to menu buttons* and search for posts from author (insert person's name here), if they don't come up or don't have many posts then they're most likely a trouble maker.

I do not think you can be reported for asking who someone is on 'bnb', if so please tell me.

Its ashame someone was trying to use RSBandBians to make their 'good deed' record a little better, I just hope that he wasn't from RSBandB...

I think asking "Who are you on the site?" is fine to ask, Jason.

Meh, I just wish people didn't do things like this.

I think we may be okay saying the name of the site, because it could be interpreted as just saying the name of the channel, but I'd steer clear from saying anything website related. Asking someone's username without saying the site name should be fine though.

Really what the guy was doing was asking what the website was to join our 'clan', and the reporting us for saying a website. Fortunately we aren't as stupid as he thought...

As far as I can see naming the site is not a good idea. We are technically a clan, so just ask them who they are in RSB&B (as in the clan). That way you cover your butt. Seriously, I wouldn't mess with those people, just get mike or someone to kick them and that will be the end of that, if they come back keep kicking.

Jagex are worse than the Nazis , the Nazis had a reason to destroy lives it may have been a stupid reason but the had a reason.

maybe if we wrote "this is a joke...","[joke]...[/joke]" or "<joke>...</joke>" Jagex might understand.

Maybe he could set it so that only people on his list can join, and we just PM him on here to get him to add us?

That was what I was thinking earlier today. He should do that.

Would you really want to be out there without the ability to talk because his friends list is full? I don't think so.

Just if anyone sees something going bad and there's no mod just send a PM to one who is active on rsbandb.

Nice to know we have someone low enough to report these people.

And nice to know Jagex are morons who can't recognise a joke when they see one.

Great.
