Rsbandb weekly comic strip..?

I was thinking. Lots of people seem to be making rs comics none of them really get anywhere...but none really get up and running properly. So my suggestion would be an rsbandb one! There are some great artists on here and could easily pull together a weekly comic..like a newspaper strip. We also have some good writers here..and i think it would be able to come together well with the right people willing to put in the work.

I haven't seen many Runescape related comic here on Rsbandb, but this might be a good start.

Yes, but I personally wouldn't take the time to draw a comic strip etc, good idea for people who would be willing to take the time to do it.

very good idea.. I just think alot of our graphics artists are usually too busy.. Besides when chewy went away for a few weeks.. He was barely ever here.. hardley even here to make it on time for sotw and so on.

I just wish we had a fully dedicated and very active graphics crew (correct me if im wrong, rafe and so on..) i know rafe is active, and a few others,, just dont know their names

However I am not an artist. I can do radio shows not drawing. Good idea.

well we can make short stories by taking picture in rs and making look like a huge adventure

Good idea. or you remember the buddys on hq? We could use those..ether way i could easily pull together one i have plenty of time at the moment (no college till sep) although i don't have the correct program to pull off any special affects..it would be a simple cut n paste job. And i mean if we can find a good script writer who can come up with some runescape related jokes..to give it some light humor then this could be a huge hit!

sounds like a mad idea..id be willing to help out althought i doubt i would have time to do it weekly if i had to do the whole thing. possibly monthly? or fortnightly? great idea though

Well if anyone wants to start up a team of people or something to do this you can talk to shane or I, about setting up forums or maybe a subdomain for something like this. Sounds like a good idea if we can get enough active people to participate.

Please do not say you will help if you are not gonna be active or anything like that. If people really want this, then a active team must be made, each person does a certain thing, also have a back up crew that also help. fill in for people and so on.

But you must stay active.. Or this will be a waste of time

Took me 5 seconds and I only used old screen shoots. I could make a way better one but eeeeeh it was just for laughs.

I'm still convinced we can pull off a weekly comic but if it takes longer i don't see a problem with that. I'm still willing to put the comic together however it may be a good idea to have a back up person..so if i happen to go away for awhile the comic wont fall behind. Any writers out there fancie giving us a hand? Sooner we get a team together the sooner we can get it going.

I still wish to stay active in this myself so why don't you do one week and i do the other? That way we can also cover for each other if ones busy/sick/away. Still need a writer.
