Last couple days forums been offline a lot...

Sorry, we dont know what the problem is...

All the files in the forums directory just keep disappearing off the server as if they were deleted... but shane or I (the only ones who have access to the server files atm) did not delete them so we dont know whats happening.

Our server host says they didn't touch them and suggest it may have been a hacker, but we have changed all the passwords and the files keep disappearing.

Me and shane will keep re-uploading a backup whenever we see that they are down untill we can solve this problem.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

ya im pretty sure its a hacker cause it happened to this other site i went to but im not 100% sure its a hacker but hope u guys solve it soon

I know, why would a hacker just delete the forums only? and do it like every 4 hours?

It's not a webhost problem. Either a hacker or something else which we do not know.

Might be a problem with the system or just needs to be traced back to the source of the problem. Doubt it's a hacker because they wouldn't know the password unless it's like I love Donuts and not something random like 8cfnro49d (Those are not my passwords by the way don't even try). I have a friend that used to do that. Haven't seen him in a while.

well there are programs out there that are password configurers that are free off the internet to download but are illegal and if you find out that someone is tampering i would suggest pressing charges if it continues

Well its been quite a while since the forums have "disappeared" now and I hope it doesn't happen again.
