Very interesting observation. I will have a look at this tomorrow as it's rather late right now
Edit: I just remembered that this was something Mike mentioned to me with the new site design. It was deemed that the old way of handling the skill comparison calculator page was a tad too confusing. The calculator was originally designed to provide an overview of the quickest way to get levels on the chosen account.
