 Post subject: Ability to lock ones thread

While browsing some of the other forums I use, I noticed I was able to lock my own thread. So just out of curiosity, why don't we have an option here to lock a thread we made?

I don't see why we shouldn't, it would save mods a bit of time.

I'd rather someone didn't lock up there thread the moment i disagreed with them cause they have the Mental mind of a 5 year old.

Personally I'd prefer it remained in the Mods hands. We have the report button..it's pretty much the same thing.

That's part of the reason. We have the option but choose not to enable it. Just use the report button if you want it locked. 99% of the time someone reports their thread to be locked it is, so that method is fairly safe.
