Can't upload an avatar?

when I tried uploading an avatar it said the URL was invalid. Can anyone help?

Make sure you enter the direct link without any BBCode.

For example, a common error when posting an image from ImageShack is that the "Show image to friends" url is used, the one below it, "Direct link to image" is the one that you should be using.
