Donation Deduction?

When money is donated from a different currency, does paypal charge from the amount of money from the donation? If so, how much?

Paypal does change the currency. So if you tell it to donate 50CAD it'll take that amount from your account with whatever the current exchange rate is.

They also take a small percentage from each donation, not sure on how much though.

One of my friends said they take $.30 (that is 30 cents on the American dollar) per transaction. I don't know if they take extra for switching currency...
