I am having dificulties killing the demon at the end...any suggestions?

re read the guide, that's what happened to me in regicide, i skipped a step ended up wasting 20 min just to figure out what's wrong

It is harder than Legends..I've read the whole guide..

I used range to kill the demon. I had a hard time getting in the right spot, but you can position yourself on one side of the corner of the hole in the middle and get the demon on the otherside of the corner. When I got positioned like that I was able to kill it with no problems. It just took me a while to get postitioned like that.

Range it!

It should get stuck behind the 10th squad, allowing you to range the feck out of it! I drank a range pot and was hitting 16 or so with my rune arrows! Beware, it hits 30 damage with both melee and magic, so stick protect from mage on. And don't get close!

Im f2p so im not sure o this, but there is a way to range or mage it without getting hurt. Use protect from magic at the distance and range/mage it. Im not sure. Check the rune hq guide.

Right. Unless your insanely high level combat, you have to range or mage it. Use protect from magic and stay back(so it can't hit you with melee). I didn't have much trouble.

it takes a few mins but the easiest way to do it is sortal like wildrice says... just have magic protection on all the time and run around the corners until the demons on the other side... then just let your little gnome friends take it until its got a little bit of green left.. then run in with a dragon special attack armed and it'll die, easiet thing ever... drag daggers probably the best for this because if you dont hit you got 3 more trys... but it might be safer to run away if you dont hit first time because he'll hit you with melee bad or whatever is opposite of your prayer protection

Didn't you finish this quest Pika? Well if you haven't, range it from behind the little gnomey-men. Cuz the gnomes will attack you too.

DO NOT MAGE IT, I wasted so many runes, MAGIC WONT AFFECT IT HARDLY AT ALL, I was 58 magic & full mystic, i could barely hit it.

I'm sure youve read the guide about him casting magic and attacking melee. Now you know that giant square in the middle of the fight? Get him adjacent to it, then just run along the next side of the square. Because he's so big he won't be able to follow, and get stuck on the edge of the first side you ran along. If you do it right, you can even go to a distance that he doesn't mage on you either $\:D/$
You'll get it after a while. I died 3 times using a ring of life :-({|=

One other thing, do not overestimate (overestimate, underestimae, whatever) Legends' with Monkey Madness. I'll be honest- I did legends at lvl 69, all you need is prayer pots and you're set. I hear people talking all the time about how they don't think they're ready for Legends', then all of the sudden they have this great idea to go and do Monkey Madness! Maybe the reason ppl stress over Legends' is that you need a fairly skilled level in various skills. But I try to raise my chatacrter evenly, so I didn't need to worry about that one huh :wink:

Oh yeah, I finished it a while ago...the thing didnt even attack me! It just stood there like nothing was happening. Meh, whatever works.
