I though it increases chance of getting gold from monsters, when i wear it, they drop gold more often, and items less...

it is virtually impossible to get a clue with ring o' welth, because jagex say that it is worth less thn bones, and it helps you get more BETTER drops not worse

Ring doesnt affect your chances, since clues are completely random. The only thing the ring affects is like getting a dragon med or left half or spear or half key

While equipped the chance of getting rare items from monsters is increased

taken from runescape manual.

That's what it does and it doesn't effect the clue drop rate since clues are completly random.

It's one of the greatest mysteries of Runescape, "What does the Ring of Wealth acually do?"

I think it increases drops like Half Keys and Dragon items.

Wealth Ring helps you get lots of coins..
And Jagex has cleared that Wealth Ring CANNOT increase the chances or getting clue scrolls
