It doesn't say anything about using magic on the second form, can you use it?

That's right red_rooste5

First form has a range and magic protection. So you've to use melee.
Second form has a melee protection. So you've to use mage or ranged or veracs.

It's just that no-one ever uses magic or say anything about it, like with the Jungle Demon I thought it could maybe miss with magic.

No one really wants to do magic because it is so expensive and also you could die and lose your runes :o. But yes, on the second form, magic could pontentially be very effective against her.

Also, veracs is the most convenient for both forms because it provides high protection vs melee and range, and so you only need to pray against mage. In magic robes, you would get destroyed by either melee OR ranged, so you are much more vunerable.

Blood spells might be effective as well as smoke spells.

the main reason people dont use mage is because it takes up extra food spaces
