To Alch or not to Alch?

Well earlier today I was doing the Shadow of the Storm quest, and I went into the bank in Al-Kharad. Some pure was fight Dr. Jekyl there and he died, dropping 25K and 243 Blue Dragonhide Sets.

Now I tried selling these today for an hour at 15K each, and didn't get one sale. However, I looked up the prices and here the statistics:

Blue D'hide Body Alchs at: 5,616 gp.
Blue D'hide Chaps Alch at: 2,592 gp.
Blue D'hide Vambs Alch at: 1,800 gp.

All better than Yew Longbows. Alching them all would get me ~2,431,944 gp.

Selling them at 15K each would get ~3,645,000 gp however.

It takes forever to sell them though, should I go with the quick easy way, or the hard, more profit way?

Take away 667,200 for alching cost
1,764,744 Profit

If you alch them you will lose 1,880,256 gp. You will lose over 1/2 the profit alching!

I'm sure a mage will buy them all off of you for 2,000,000 for alching experience. I say try to sell for about a week, if no one buys, then alch 'em!

You could also try selling them for 10k, earing a profit of 2,430,000.

Thats better than alching!
