Kalphite Queen Hunting

Me and my friend were planning on going kq hunting. He said I needed to buy 500 sharks,50 super sets, and 20 Prayer pots. Is this good? or do we need more to get that lovely D chain?

well it all depends on what you are wearing, your stats, level ect. if u have this information then i could give you a little help

i'm level 99, 80, 80, 80 combat stats and i solo'd the kq and got a chain after about 3 kills, i went with a friend and got one after about 10 kills but now we have been lots of times and we havn't gotten one in ages...so its completlly random...

It all depends on how lucky you are...

For example.. Shane and I have done 434 kq kills, and we have only gotten 1 chain.

We used about 32 sharks, 2/3rds of a super set, 2 lumby teles, 1/3 anti poison potion, and 1/10th of a prayer potion on average per kill between the 2 of us. That's about 40k worth of supplies per kill.

40 * 434 = over 17mil spent on supplies, which is more than what a chain is worth.

As you can see, it all depends on luck... Shane and I are unlucky, we never should have gone. How lucky are you?

And if you get a d chain after the sencound of first kill... than you can always re-sell items back to people
