barrows or money~

hi... i know some people say that barrows is very good option get money but i dont know if it is truth 2 week before i went to barrows and no good drop... if barrows is not the best option to make money post here... and if it is does ur kill count affect ur drop?

As far as I can see, barrows is not a good way to make cash. But I do think the kill count affects the drop. I have heard from one person he gets great drops when his kill count is at or over 1000, but he isnt a reliable source

Assuming you sell the runes you find, the barrows can be an excellent way to make money. Rather than buying prayer potions, grow ranaar weed and gather snape grass on Waterbirth to save money.

I typically use six doses of prayer potion per run, sometimes less, and I grow ranaar weed at 15k per seed and gather snape grass on my own, making the average cost of prayer potion 4500 per run. Assuming you use slayer dart or some other death rune spell, you'll probably use about 15k in runes and arrows to attack the brothers, and maybe some food in the tunnel. You'll probably get anywhere from 20-80k worth of runes per run gross. That's up to 60k profit per run with little chance loss, and what you do lose will likely be made up for soon.

Your kill count has no significant effect on what you get past about 20. If it's very low it seems like there are fewer runes and coins in the chest.
