Alching battlestaffs-good money?

I'm asking because in 2 crafting lvls, I'll be able to make battlestaves. I've heard that thry're good money and magic exp, but I don't know for sure. Could someone confirm or deconfirm that?

anyways.. they are ok i guess. Lets say i was killing killer watts and got 2 fire orbs in a drop, which they do drop.. I would go to varrock and buy 2 battle staffs, put the orbs on, and alch em and make around 2k profit each one.

If your gonna do it all by youself, and buy the battle staffs, buy the reguler unpowered orbs, then spend alot of time running to the places to power your orbs and using all the runes to do it, then alching them.. Might be some ok exp, but i dont think money wise that this is a good idea.. Just my opinion.

You will need these supplies to make a big profit:

Buckets Of Sand
Seaweed
Battlestaffs(helps if you have already)

Then you just go through the crafting process by making the orbs and then charging them after that you make a pretty good profit. I suggest doing the Earth ones because its pretty easy to get to. I've made over 1mil in a day easy

with a decent agility lvl all the obelisks are easy to get to make the ones that give the best crafting xp for ur current lvl.

battlestaffs cost less at mage's guild than the varok staff shop in the long run, and all types alch for 9300gp meaning 1.5 - 2k profits if u buy a shop totally out.

Yes.

It is good money, even buying everything & crafting it gives atleast 700gp profit per stave. Good crafting xp & good money, not so great magic unless you do alot at a time.

allright, it all sounds good. I can get free sand, and I probably should train agility. Is the water obilisk easy to get to if you can use the blue dragon shortcut?

ye, but even faster to get to if u can jump the floor spikes to the poisen spiders.
