I think I would rather have Guthans or Dharoks over torags but thats really up to you.

I have a couple of friends who had them. They ended up selling them cuz they weren't any good. Better to buy Guthans or Dharoks like Wizard said.

Torag hammers alone are rubbish. With the set they are still rubbish. The only decent thing about torag is his defence bonus (highest).
I'd suggest getting either a whip or a dragon long (I like long swords).
