Noob Question?

Well im new to RS and i just want to get the heads up on things..soo i have a few questions if you guys dont mind..

1.What IS/ARE the best Melee Weapons in RS?
2.What makes a certain weapon Good/Elite/Rare?(based stats???)
3.How to Get them??(Monster Drops?? Trades??etc..)

best weapon is dharok's great axe... you must be a member to get, it's worth 3 million. unless you go to barrows... at least combat 90 before going there, but that's just my opinion.

For F2P its Rune. If you want speed use scimitar, if you want strengt use b-axe or 2-handed. Me myself I use scimitar when I go pking in F2P. (with clan, so dont get too many hopes up...you aint gonna kill me...)

Actually the overall best weapon is the Abyssal Whip. Dharok's Greataxe is awesome if you are wearing the full set.

actually the best is unknown. There's a rumour which could be true that the new slayer monster drops a better weapon

i'll assume you're lvl 1 so the only place for you is the gnome...something. lol i forget the name but if you look on the world map, look north-west of Ardougne....

brain-flash...Tree Gnome Stronghold is the name

You guys are forgetitng guthans. It is the best if you got the whole set. You can heal yourself so you don't really need food. Great for training at bandits. You can get up to 70k xp an hour there.

O and m1ni mag3r, I have no clue what you were thinking when you made that your avatar. Reading the rules really does help people stay out of trouble.

its members, but you level it up at the tree gnome village, and other spots.

Yea ive always heard the abyssle whip wasa the best. But there are probably harder wepons to get...

There are harder weapons to get.

Weather not the whip is the best weapon is debateable. It probably is the best if you are trianing attack or defense, but what about when you are training strentgh. The dragon scimmy might be the best for that.
