a friend of mine said they are re droping santa hats only with the change of the name to "new santa hat" is this true or just some rumor?

Its not true. Jagex said they were never going to drop anything again becuase too many people complain that they don't get one. If it is that big of a deal just get on for 5 mins and you will find one.

The only thing they do for holidays now is add a npc that gives you something. The npc is usually there for about 2 weeks so everyone has a chance to get what they want.

Well before this really gets locked just remember jagex will never tell anyone about updates unless its on their front page. People were even asking them about the new fight cave in game and they said "just go their and find out" :roll:
