do you need the flail in verac's for it to ignore the armor or just the armor not the flail? im going to get full varac's but i want a whip not a flail will i still get the same bonus?

In order for the special effect to work, you must be wearing the full set.

Yup, you need all the the set. they have to be all from the same warrior/legend as well. Ie. Vera'cs helm, plate, legs and flail.
