need help please

I've been on holiday for 2 weeks and arrived back today, I tried to to log in to runescape to find my password has been changed, then to add more insult to it the hacker also got me banned, is there anything i can do anybody? How can i get my account back?
I am lvl 84 78 woodcut 65 mining etc, good skills and i dont wanna lose my account I dont care about the items on the account I just want my account please somebody help

if somebody can help me significantly and i get my account back I will most probably give a reward If i can get it

ok never mind now after a lot of patience and work i got my account back, i look like a fool and I cant see half my bank now members is run out but I got it back at least, hopefully with everything i started with, The hacker decided to use the account for themselves and so, very kindly put me up a few lvls

does anybody know if Jagex can ban IP addresses so the little **** (censored) cant do it again?

And I'm glad to hear you got it back. To my knowledge I do not believe that Jagex IP ban's, because say you are using a proxy to hide your IP address? Or what if they accidentally banned an IP range, and all of a sudden nobody in Indonesia can play Runescape? In some cases I would like to see IP bans, but it's just not logical, Jagex wouldn't want to accidentally ban some of their paying members now would they? :wink:

you got a point there dan, does anybody have a tip to keeping my account secure? I don't want to be banned again, althought i'm still chuckling about them using my account as their own (they left me with only a few exp til 79 woodcut lol) and still laughing about their requests for country capes

Well first of all make sure your computer don't have have keyloggers or any other virus on your computer.
If you have done that you should make a password that is to hard to guess... You see if your real name is bob don't make you password just "bob" or "b1o2b3" But something you really like reversed with your birthdate (like: ekac461987)or something like that...

i made a complicated pass last time but it got changed, also would using an autotyper just to put in my password be ok? or would it still be picked up if i have a keylogger?

Autotypers are against the Jagex rules, and almost always have a keylogger. It's best to just take the extra few seconds, then getting your account banned.

i know they are against rules, and mine is called my function keys, it doesnt have a keylogger and i'm only using it to do my password so a keylogger can't pick it up.
