In the cave with the "perfect" gold ore, I tried ranging the hellhounds but they keep running. Is there any good position to range them from or should I use a cannon?

Don't you use the gold or rocks there to hide behind? I haven't been there in awhile..it's pretty easy to spot..and that area is (or was) populer so im sure you can see where other people stand.

I suggest not ranging there....2 spots? No thx. Go to taverly dungeon. I dont get poisoned much from the spiders but bring an anti in case. theres 3 upper spawns. and around 3 lower spawns. And 2 more off to the side. Hellhounds GALORE!

I would also suggest taverly... I just recently had a slayer assignment up there. I found it very easy to range them at the upper spawns. (Didnt try the lower)
