the runescape mods... player mods or jagex mods? player mods can mute people if they say naughty things.... jagex mods, they are special. they can change their stats or summon up items at random. they can walk over water or through walls.... special.

A gold helmet is a Jagex mod, and a Silver one is a player mod? Or is gold helmet and admin?

Yes, the gold crowns next to their names are jagex mods, silver crowns are player mods.

I dont think they can change stats or create items in da game... they might have access to the database, but I don't think they're that special lol

They can change their own stats, mod martin has combat level 126 but his stats don't appear in the hi-scores.

Yes, mods stats dont appear in hi-scores, and that is a souped-up char, but I doubt he did it, it was probably only someone deep inside Jagex that can do that through the database...

Say someone just happens to guess a mod's password, then *BAM* all of RS is thrown into Chaos...

I think mods accouts might be only accesed from the mod's own computer.

i know mods can change their level at will for a fact, i saw mod.... not sure which one it was. it was aaaagggeeesssssss ago (like a year and a half) but he went from 3 to 123 and back again just because someone said he couldnt. was pretty cool. i think i'm gonna work at jagex just so i can do that........

Because they don't want to favour him to much, if they gave him that he'd be really full of himself, they want to choose someone who's good for the job, not just number 1 in the high-scores.

So basically their for show...

Player mods rarely mute people as well, seeing as they have to fill out reports and we cant waste their playing time now can we? :roll:

The offered zezima the position before and he had it for a week, but he asked to give up that position cause people would bother him even more and people would try to hack him everyday!
