Question #1 : According to other Runescape fan sites, on the mountain where you get the Ice Diamond, all your stats will be drained but, are they all drained to 1 in seconds or is it slowly drained?

Question #2 : During the fight the Kamil, can you hide behind a rock and attack him with magic without him attacking you with melee or will he just move next to u and attack you?

1) All your stats (including hitpoints) go down by 1, i think it's every 30 seconds.

2) I'm not so sure on this anymore since I did the quest quite a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure they fixed it so he appears beside you now.

1. They are not drained instantly but it would be wise to bring teleportation, restore potions and lots of food.

2. I didn't see one. If there is one you should probably report it as a bug.

The ice guy in my opinion was one of the hardest. Stock up on super restore pots and take him down asap. :P

Is there really any difference between using a regular restore potion between a super retore potion in Desert Treasure?

I thought that super stat restored also non-combat skills again. And just the stat restore potion restores combat skills.

Oh and for hiding from the boss up there. It has no use since he uses magic to.

The main reason i suggest it was because it restored your stats more than a normal one would..making you use them up slower.

As for your second question, no, there is not...

Just bring a friend (if nobody will I'll come when I get members back [Saturday or Sunday]). Just use protect from magic and you're good.... Also, when you get to the ice blocks of the parents, instead of attacking them, use Fire Blast on them... much faster that way...

Super Restore restores more to each I think and it also restores some prayer I think, I did that quest recently and seem to remember that being the case

1. Your stats will drain but not to zero right away, super restores are basically needed.

2. When I did desert treasure I didn't see any rocks, but just brings the runes for a fire spell (blast or wave preferred) and prayer pots and its easy.

1. Bring Restores, Super Restores and Prayer Potions. Also you will need food, as when you are trying to get up the ice slide you will fall down alot.
It's really quite annoying.

2. You really shouldn't bother. He freezes you with an ice spell, he'll start attacking, if you move close to him then you have better chances of not being frozen.
