Barrows without prayer.

As seen in the video I only get hit about at least twice at Guthan and Torag.

That's roughly 1.3k spent on sharks each. (Though I use monks, but it'll be more fair if I compare with same food)

Assuming you're using Tangle, you can cast three times before retangleing. Assuming you need about 15 casts to kill a brother, you will spend:

5[(4*300)+(5*25)+(5*20)]=7.1k

You actually spent the same price as a prayer potion, except that you don't actually pray at the brothers.

Besides, that video I edited out of was like months old, I quit already and I don't have interest in spending more money just for proving someone wrong.

You've really inspired me to do barrows, i think with only 49 prayer i might need a prayer pot or two, i have about 16 in bank so it won't be too bad. I just gotta get 55 slayer XD

AFter one horrible death in barrows. I'm never going without my prayer... No way! Even though my membership is gone now.

spud: actually, i use snare... not high enough magic level =/ it i was using entangle, i'd have 5 casts before i'd have to retreat, and i'd actually save a nature or 2.

as i've said before, in full mystic, it takes 9 or less casts of iban blast to kill a brother, including karil, excluding ahrim. so when i get to the point i can cast entangle, that means its more like:

2[(4x310)+(5x20)+(5x20)] = 1440x2 (wtf? 1440 comes up a flipping lot in my runescape calculations o_O) = 2880gp for the cost of keeping my opponent at bay.

so thats a total of 14400 (omfg 1440 again!!!) to kill all brothers except ahrim) yes, more expensive than your method im sure, but then again...

i checked, you used 51 darts on 4 brothers as apposed to the 45 blasts i use on 5... so i use 45(300+100) = 18000 vs you used 51(300+80) = 19380.

of course, even though we've both covered like 4 posts trying to prove each other superior, in the end it really doesn't matter all that much... overall because of my spells i spend more money on keeping the brother away, so yeah, its probably less cost effective, but in my case, having limited melee abilities, below average ranged skills, and barely enough slayer to use slayer dart in the first place... for me personally, it is mroe effective to use the iban blast method over your way. more to come, dinner =P...

Great guide man, i used to barrow a while ago but stopped because i was losing more than i earned with all the prayer pots. But ive started again using your method and now even when i dont get a barrows item im making 50-150k profit per trip just from the runes and racks.
