I really don't think that was edited. Why do you think it is? First off, there are those whistles in the game. Second, that would be very hard to edit.

Yea There are three magic whistles. Panel 3, World 1 fortress and world 2 Behind the rubble(tree next to it). i beat the game in so many ways it isn't funny. SNES, GBA (Super mario Advance 4), With whistles,Without whistles, with clouds, without clouds (FUN!). So many ways.
