I've just been suspended the 4th time this school year and its nothing new. I'm on the edge of being kicked outta home but I hope I don't. I was watching a documentary on street people and I knew right away how harsh life after being kicked out of home is, so I decided to write this.

The Streets

Behind that corner
Some may mourn
Away from home
We've been torn

This desolate place
This fear-filled space
Doom at every turn
As you let your feelings burn

"Out the door, and don't come back!"
I remember that all too well
Is this reality?
Am I next?

Would be perfect if it be a little bit longer
