'Know Your Enemy' is really awful. When I heard it on the Radio I was sure the whole album would be horrible. But it seems it was just bad judgement on their part. Know Your Enemy is the worst song on there and they choose it as the first single, weird. The rest of the songs aren't bad and there are a few good ones scattered throughout, but it's nowhere near American Idiot in my opinion. Green Day have had their day. Now we just sit and see how many subpar album they release before they realize it as well.

That's pretty much my opinion as well. A good cd, but no real standout hits.

I don't know, I'm just not really into their style of music. I have listened to a couple other songs off of it and they all just sound really similar to me. Not enough variety in the way of instruments and varying guitar. I'm also not a big fan of Billie Joe's vocals as he tends to stay around the same range through all of the songs. I don't know if he writes the songs or not, but if he does, the one thing I would complement him on is that, at least on this album the song-writing is pretty good.

But, this is just my opinion, I am not trying to knock Green Day or their music. Music is the one thing you really can't say what is bad and what isn't because it is all based around taste and opinion.
