I think it's stupid when people moan about Valentine's Day being very commercial, yet I bet there the people who go to the shop and buy the massive 2 foot cards with heart confetti and fancy mystery writing inside.

Heh, I thought this was funny.

I just started dating a guy about a month ago and I told him when we started dating I do not want to really celebrate Valentines day. I think it's stupid. I don't want flowers, I don't want candy, I don't want jewelry, I don't want anything. It's lame. I did go over to his house that day though and his little sister made me a valentines day card so I was her valentine haha.

But yesterday my boyfriend took me paint balling so I guess that could kind of count as a valentines day gift? haha. No, I don't think so, but still, that was a lot of fun.

In my opinion, Valentines Day is completely pointless. You don't need a day specifically for telling your guy/girl how much you love them. Totally commercialized.
