OK, Im currently writing a story for you all... Ide like to know if this is too long, Too short, or Deprived of grammer and details. Its chapter one and will probably need editing.
Voltemot... The epic to save life as we know it.
Starting setting - Arkana (Homeland)
Characters - Pac, Tobi, Voltemot (main), Elidreg, and Yestu (second).
2nd Setting - The land of Yungshi
3rd setting - Faldaba
Final Setting - Darkness
Plot:
In the fourth generation where insects roamed the world just to fight for land... A young imp named Voltemot is willing to give it all he has to send the world into the next generation. This is his story.
Chapter 1 - The fall
Young valtemot, a young male imp of about 16 starts his journey in the land of Arkana. Arkana has been around for over 400 years and has recently been attacked by the vile insects of Dremator the god of wisdom and evil. Even though he was sleeping at the time, he knew what tremendous power these creatures were capable of obtaining. So he set off on the journey of the lifetime... To save the land of Arkana and its brother and sister kingdoms. First thing that morning he ate his curry then grabbed his sword and then set off with his freind Yestu to one day save the world. After hours of traveling, They came upon a wooded land they needed to get through to get to the land of Yungshi. They were about quarter way through when Yestu heard the sound of buzzing. He looks behind and sees this swarm of massive insects heading their way. Yestu says to Voltemot, "Umm, Volt (as he called him for short), We have bit of a problem coming our way." Volt says, "What do you mean a bit of a problem?" (Looking at yestu) Yestu replied, "Look at that behind us." Volt responded with a glance back and then said, "Stop." Yestu said back with an eerie voice, "Erm, What?! Why?" Volt said, "We need the experiance..." Voltemot leeps in the air with lust, drawing his blade. Yestu did the same with his weapon of choice... Gins (A form of Shuriken developed by imps in the first generation). Volt says, "You get the back and I will get the lead ones." Yestu nods. They both now hiding in the trees waiting for the grule insects to come along. Volt jumps out first and attacks the first four. Yestu waits untill he slays the first one then jumps out to help his freind. One shot out and jumped on Volt when he was already in a fight with 4. Volt falls down into the branches and Yestu tries to defend him from being massacred. After Volt regrouped he stood up and then jumped on one and veered his sword into its head. After the long battle with alot of bruises, Young Voltemor was still wondering if he should go through with this... They both knew without saying anything that this would be a long battle to win. They barely had any confidence that they had a chance at all. After a hard day they stop and take a rest and take some cherrys from bushes they find nearby. Volt says to Yestu, "This was a hard day, Not hard as they are going to get. This may take a while unless we can get better." Then they picked out a good tree to lay in and then fell asleep. Thus ending the weary adventurer's day. Tommorow will hold a much greater challenge.
