It's AlienGUIse, a free theme manager that allows you to change the appearance of your operating system. It allows you to download alienware media player skins.

Apparently, I don't. I use WMP mostly because I don't have an iPod.

I don't skin my WMP. I use VLC player most of the time. I only use WMP to organize my music and stuff like that.

I like winamp and i use it for my iPod, much more organized and has more features than iTunes I find. I particularily like global keyboard shortcuts for rating songs. I use the mlipod extension for it because the built in plugin for ipods doesn't have as many features yet.
