Trouble Loading the Runescape Site

I am having trouble loading the runescape web page. I type in the url and the site comes up but only the ads show. There is no button to play game, I cannot read or even see the updates, and I can't log on to the fourms at all.

If anyone can help thank you very much.

sometimes it lags, i mean i just tried to open the rs site thru the client and it took 2mins to load the page, the ads loaded straight away,, but not the site.. Its been ok since. so keep trying and if it still messes up let me know

Aight. I am trying to use the client and also Internet explorer and also firefox. I do have my current java and it is all set right. So I am sure that the java isn't the problem.

I'll keep in touch with ya though if it doesn't work.

i had that problem too, I switched a browser, u shouldn't have problems now, cause i think the servers are fixed

What do ya mean by you switched a browser. Did you just close it and open it again or did you go from internet explorer to something else?

kk no prob. if it still messes up, try to connect with other websites, like yahoo, google, so on. make sure that its not your internet having problems.. I have dsl, my phone line connects to it, then my network cable from the modem to my nic card. and sometimes (very rarely) my internet will stop, it wont disconnect, but it wont recieve or send any information.. ill restart and it works again usually if not then i reset the modem.

I tried that already. Right now it is not working but I can connect here and I can get to a lot of other sites. Just runescape Web site is the only one not working.

kk just throwing out options just in case.. Usually during an update, after, or before one i have this problem.. and also at random times it will happen, and i get my friends to test it out and it will work for them, but for me it takes forever.. I usually just close out of it and wait a little bit and it works eventually.

Are you the only one on that computer you are using? Probably someone blocked the site. :wink:

ya its working for me, im just browsing the forums right now. about 10-20 mins ago it wasnt working though

Yes I am the only one on the computer. This is my computer and no one else uses it. My brothers and parents have their own computers.

Also we do not have a thing on our network that will block certain sites I believe.

I'll try one of my brothers comps.
