sony vegas TWAIN_32.dll missing or corrupt

When I try to start sony it just stops and gives me this error----> Image
I saw people have fixing it by enabling the WIA thing. I tried it and it gave me another error "windows could not start Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service on local computer" and I turned startup type to automatic.

Any help is appreciated.

idk what a dll is so i didn't know you could do that. downloaded it. what do i do with it???????

A dll is just a file that makes up the software. Reinstalling will replace all these files.

i reinstalled it and tried to use the trial. same error.
