Firefox just wont open...

I have googled it, I have read the FAQ and stuff on the mozilla website. But it just will NOT open.

I have reinstalled, restarted, tried opening from different places, copied and pasted, deleted every single folder to do with firefox on my computer and installed again, checked that there is no process running. Absolutely everything.

But still, when I click on the shortcut on my desktop (or the .exe in the program file), I get the loading cursor up for about two seconds, then nothing happens.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Because Safari is also being stupid with me. And i hate IE >_<

I'm not an Opera fangirl, but I found it the easiest to deal with when my Firefox was having the exact same problem yours is having.

When mine wasn't working, I uninstalled it completely and installed an older version of it (I had just updated it when the problem started). You could maybe try that, if you haven't already? I hope that helped.

Thanks for the advice, ill give it a try when I get on my pc.
Currently using Safari in it's place, think I might stick with it actually, seems to work well

I really don't like using Opera or IE >_<

Well it seems to be running fine for me.. so... winner!
