Replacing Windows 7 Beta with the RC (Mac)

Hello everyone.

I am downloading the Windows 7 RC at the moment and wondered how I replace this version with my Windows 7 Beta. I do have VM Ware Fusion, but I am mainly trying the RC to see if I can play Steam games on my computer. Which means I want to use Band Camp.

Can I do this WITHOUT deleting the data on the partition? I don't mind if I do, though. I never use W7:B due to no games were able to play.

Also: I am downloading the 64-bit version while I am replacing that with the 32-bit Beta. I don't know if this will change any way of doing this, but I'd like to just put it in for safe measures.

EDIT: I realized that I have to have the 32-bit so I'll get that instead..

You're right, you can't convert between 32 and 64 bit easily. You would have to do a clean install if you wanted to do that.

You can use the upgrade option but they are slow and painful. So if you absolutely must have your beta, do upgrade. If not just do a fresh install, it will be quicker.
